Emmanuel Olapade
Assistant Instructor

Emmanuel Olapade is a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. in
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He currently serves as an Assistant Instructor
in biology, having previously worked as a ULA for BS161. His research experience as
a Wielenga Research Scholar spans plant, cellular, and structural biology, where he
gained training in PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, enzyme assays, chromatography,
SDS-PAGE, and plasmid cloning techniques.
Beyond teaching and research, Emmanuel is passionate about mentorship and supporting
students in mastering foundational concepts in biology. He plans to pursue medical
school, with the goal of integrating his love of science, education, and patient care
into his career.
