BS 192H
Course Description:
Honors Organismal Biology Laboratory (BS 192H) provides students an overview of the
nature and process of organismal biology including experimental design, statistical
analysis, and hypothesis testing in genetics, ecology, and evolution. This course
is designed to train students in the primary skills that biologists use, such as making
observations, asking testable questions, designing experiments, collecting, and analyzing
data, and interpreting and communicating results. While the content of this course
is like other organismal biology courses, the research and field experience emphases
are unusual for introductory-level biology.
