Course Description 
Biological Sciences (BS) 162: Organismal and Population Biologyprovides instruction in foundational principles and scientific practices related to the study of genetics, inheritance, evolution, and ecology across scales (i.e., molecular to ecosystem). BS161is a prerequisite for BS 162, and both are required for all life sciences majors.BS 162 is considered preparatory for upper-level coursework in genetics, ecology, and evolution.
