Course Goals
Honors Organismal and Population Biology (BS182H) is an introduction to foundational
principles and scientific practices related to the study of genetics, inheritance,
evolution, and ecology across multiple scales of reference. Our primary goal is to
facilitate student learning of organismal biology and, focusing on this core content,
help students practice critical thinking and analysis of scientific and popular presentation
of this material to prepare them to function as biologically literate citizens.
