I earned my Bachelors of Science in Human Biology at Michigan State University with
a minor in Spanish.
I am dedicated to mentorship, education, and advancing diversity in STEM. As a first-generation
college graduate and former migrant student, overcoming adversity has shaped my commitment
to supporting students and fostering inclusive learning environments. My professional
goal is to attend medical school and become a physician, giving back to my community
through healthcare and advocacy. I am passionate about collaboration, leadership,
and continuous learning, and I value opportunities to engage with others, exchange
ideas, and drive meaningful change in both education and medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my puppy, exploring new places, and staying
active through working out and trying new recipes. One of my proudest accomplishments
is being a first-generation college graduate and the first in my family to attend
college outside of the Rio Grande Valley. Balancing a full-time job while preparing
for the MCAT has been both a challenge and a rewarding experience as I work toward
my goal of becoming a physician. I am passionate about making a difference in healthcare
and hope to contribute to improving patient care access.
