Matthew Spaulding
Assistant Instructor
I graduated from MSU in the Spring of 2024 with a degree in Cellular and Developmental
Neuroscience. I work in the Ganz lab in the Integrative Biology Department where we
eludicate genes necessary for enteric nervous system development using CRISPR Cas9
methodoly. I currently work as an Assistant Instructor within the Biological Sciences
Department teaching BS161 (Cells & Molecules) where students learn the molecular foundations
of cellular functions.
I graduated from MSU in the spring of 2024 with a degree in Cellular and Developmental Neuroscience. I grew up on the west side of Michigan in a town called Holland. I served as a ULA in the BioSci department for three semesters and am beyond excited to take on the role of Assistant Instructor. I will begin medical school next fall and have a passion for the study of the nervous system and hope to practice as a neurologist.
